- Waist: Brown thread
- Thorax: Cinnamon dubbing (smaller)
- Legs: Brown or ginger hackle (2-3 turns)
- Wing (optional): White poly
Tying steps
- Mount hook. Dub a large cinnamon-brown ball at the rear 2/3 for abdomen.
- Wrap a narrow waist of brown thread.
- Dub a smaller cinnamon thorax at front 1/3.
- Wrap 2-3 turns of brown/ginger hackle between abdomen and thorax.
- Optional: add white poly wing indicator.
- Whip finish, head cement.
