- Mount 3XL hook. Lay olive thread base to bend.
- Tie in 3 olive marabou fibers as tail/caudal gills, splayed slightly.
- Tie in fine copper wire.
- Dub a slim tapered olive abdomen to 60% — damsel nymphs have a very slim body.
- Rib in 6 turns.
- Tie in olive turkey tail wingcase.
- Tie in olive partridge legs on each side.
- Dub a slightly fuller olive thorax, pull wingcase over.
- Optional: attach small black mono eyes at the head.
- Whip finish, head cement.
