Tying steps
- Mount scud hook. Lay olive thread base to bend.
- Tie in fine wire at bend.
- Dub a bright green abdomen filling the curved shank to 75%.
- Rib with wire in 5-6 turns to segment body.
- Dub a darker brown thorax at the front 25%.
- Build a small dark dubbing head, whip finish, head cement.
- Optional: add copper or gold bead for weight.
