Tying steps

  1. Mount 2XL hook. Tie in a comparadun-style wing of green elk hair, fanned 180 degrees.
  2. Wrap to bend; tie in dark moose hair split tail.
  3. Dub a fat olive-cream body to behind wing, segmented with yellow thread rib.
  4. Tie in grizzly-olive hackle, wrap 4 turns behind wing and 2 in front.
  5. Tie off hackle, whip finish, head cement.
