Tying steps
- Mount 3XL hook. Build thread base to bend.
- Tie in 3 pheasant tail fibers spread as tails.
- Tie in gold wire ribbing.
- Dub a fat olive-cream abdomen to 60% mark.
- Rib with gold wire in 6 turns.
- Tie in ostrich herl gills along each side of thorax area.
- Tie in wide mottled turkey tail wingcase.
- Tie in partridge legs, dub full olive-brown thorax.
- Pull wingcase over, tie down, whip finish, head cement.
