Tying steps

  1. Mount 3XL hook. Build thread base to bend.
  2. Tie in 3 pheasant tail fibers spread as tails.
  3. Tie in gold wire ribbing.
  4. Dub a fat olive-cream abdomen to 60% mark.
  5. Rib with gold wire in 6 turns.
  6. Tie in ostrich herl gills along each side of thorax area.
  7. Tie in wide mottled turkey tail wingcase.
  8. Tie in partridge legs, dub full olive-brown thorax.
  9. Pull wingcase over, tie down, whip finish, head cement.
