Thread: Uni 8/0 Brown

Tying steps

  1. Mount hook, lay brown thread base to bend.
  2. Tie in 4-5 pheasant tail fibers as tail, one hook-gap length.
  3. Tie in fine gold wire for ribbing.
  4. Dub a tapered brown hare's ear abdomen to the 60% mark.
  5. Rib in 5 open turns with gold wire, tie off.
  6. Tie in a dark turkey tail wingcase strip.
  7. Tie in partridge fiber legs on each side.
  8. Dub a round brown hare's ear thorax.
  9. Pull wingcase forward, tie down, whip finish, head cement.
