Materials

Tying steps

  1. Mount 3XL hook. Lay golden thread base.
  2. Tie in yellow biots as split tails.
  3. Tie in gold wire.
  4. Dub a bright gold abdomen to 60%.
  5. Rib in 5-6 turns.
  6. Tie in tan foam wingcase and yellow rubber legs.
  7. Dub bright amber thorax.
  8. Pull foam over thorax; tie in a small orange foam indicator on top.
  9. Whip finish, head cement.
