How to tie the Light Cahill (Spinner)

Materials

• Hook: Tiemco TMC 100, #12-16
• Thread: Uni 8/0 Cream
• Tail: Cream hackle fibers (long split)
• Body: Cream dubbing
• Wing: White poly yarn (spent)
• Thorax: Cream dubbing

Tying steps

1. Mount hook. Figure-eight white poly spent wings at mid-shank.
2. Wrap to bend; tie in long split cream tail.
3. Dub cream body from bend to behind wings.
4. Dub cream thorax around wing bases.
5. Whip finish, head cement.
