Tying steps

  1. Mount hook. Lay tan thread base to bend.
  2. Tie in wood duck flank fibers as a short tail.
  3. Tie in fine gold wire.
  4. Dub a light tan abdomen to 60% mark.
  5. Rib with gold wire in 5 turns.
  6. Tie in light turkey tail wingcase.
  7. Tie in wood duck flank leg fibers on each side.
  8. Dub cream thorax, pull wingcase, whip finish.
