Tying steps
- Slide silver tungsten bead onto hook. Mount in vise.
- Lay red thread base from bead to bend.
- Tie in very fine silver wire at the bend.
- Wrap red thread forward in tight touching turns to the bead — this is the body.
- Counter-wrap silver wire forward in 6-8 even segments.
- Tie off wire, dub a tiny sparse black thorax behind the bead.
- Whip finish behind bead, apply head cement or UV resin.
