Tying steps
- Mount 2XL hook. Tie in a short elk hair tail at bend.
- Tie in large brown saddle hackle.
- Dub a thick orange-black body to 3/4.
- Palmer hackle in 5 open spirals.
- Tie in black rubber legs on each side.
- Tie in a large bunch of dark elk hair as wing.
- Trim elk butts, build a large head, whip finish, head cement.
