Tying steps

  1. Mount 2XL hook. Tie in a short elk hair tail at bend.
  2. Tie in large brown saddle hackle.
  3. Dub a thick orange-black body to 3/4.
  4. Palmer hackle in 5 open spirals.
  5. Tie in black rubber legs on each side.
  6. Tie in a large bunch of dark elk hair as wing.
  7. Trim elk butts, build a large head, whip finish, head cement.
