Tying steps

  1. Mount hook. Tie in wing material upright, figure-eight to divide.
  2. Wrap to bend; tie in split cream hackle fiber tail.
  3. Dub a pale orange-yellow body from bend to behind wing.
  4. Tie in cream hackle feather, wrap 4-5 turns, tie off.
  5. Whip finish, head cement.
