- Abdomen: Tan caddis dubbing or hare's ear
- Wingcase: Brown mottled turkey tail
- Legs: Tan partridge fibers
- Thorax: Brown hare's ear dubbing
- Bead (optional): Gold or copper bead
Tying steps
- Optional: slide bead on hook before mounting. Mount hook.
- Lay tan thread base from bead to bend.
- Tie in fine gold wire at bend.
- Dub slim tan abdomen to 60% mark.
- Rib with gold wire in 5 turns.
- Tie in mottled turkey tail wingcase and tan partridge legs.
- Dub brown hare's ear thorax, pull wingcase, whip finish.
