Tying steps

  1. Mount 2XL hook. Tie in red yarn tail.
  2. Cut a strip of yellow closed-cell foam and tie in at bend.
  3. Wrap thread in touching turns to 3/4; fold foam over and segment with thread wraps.
  4. Tie in mottled turkey or yellow elk wing flat over body.
  5. Tie in yellow rubber legs on each side.
  6. Tie in a yellow foam head; tie off with a whip finish.
  7. Trim head to shape, apply head cement.
